Graham started his financial management career in 1971 after serving in the US Navy. He spent the first 15 years in the corporate finance sector with Timex, Union Carbide, and Continental Grain where he focused on global financial risk management and pension fund management. Graham traveled extensively and was responsible for the financial management of numerous foreign subsidiaries of these firms, and managed trading operations in foreign currencies and commodities. In the late 1970s, he was assigned responsibility for pension fund management, and has managed globally diversified investment portfolios ever since. For the last 25 years of his career, Graham served as Senior Portfolio Manager with State Street Bank and Putnam Investments in Boston, and most recently served as Chief Investment Officer for a private wealth management firm specializing in asset allocation and portfolio management for extremely high net worth clients.
His role with The Main Street Group will be similar. Graham will be available to meet with our clients, explaining current economic and market trends and providing valuable insight, particularly during times of market volatility.
Graham excels in educating clients in the fields of global economics, asset allocation, portfolio construction, and long-term financial goal achievement. He brings a vital area of expertise to The Main Street Group, and will be an outstanding addition to the team of specialized services offered to our clients.
Graham and his wife, Rosie, live just outside Lexington, VA. In his off time, he enjoys boating in New England and skiing in West Virginia.
